I am finding more and more a need for simplicity in planning church ministry programs and the activities and events that we hold for those ministries. We have a simple job to do. That task is to spread the Gospel, share God’s love, teach others, and work together in the body of Christ. Somehow, I feel that we have lost sight of that when we plan church events and activities.

I trust the information in this section of the website will help not only women's leaders, but church leaders as a whole with seeing the vision for our local churches to strive for simplistic ministry. I think if we are strategic in planning that we can work towards simple activities and events for our churches that have a big and lasting impact but are in reality very simple. More than that though, my plea is that people will realize that the Christian life isn't about activities and events. It isn't about ministries. It isn't even about church programs. It's about Christian living. It's about discipling others on a one-on-one basis. It's about showing God's love in the everyday of life away from church and away from events and activities.

My hope for us as Christian women is that we can get to focusing more on teaching and sharing God’s Word with other people and loving people on a more meaningful level through any activity or event held through our local churches, but more importantly that we begin seeing the need to live our lives every day in a "teaching other women" way. That isn't reserved for events and activities or even for Bible studies. That "teaching other women" is what we are to be doing in our everyday lives as Christian women.

Aren't you glad Jesus left us with those simple tasks like teaching other women, loving other people, being forgiving, sharing the Gospel. So easy. So simple.
