When God created us as women, He created us with unique needs. One of those needs is to be with other women, interact, and relate to them. You've heard women talking to each other referred to as "hen's clucking" but it is so a part of our nature to have to have that contact and interaction with other women. We don't always "cluck" just to "cluck". We need to "cluck" as it were to meet that longing planted inside of us.

As Christian women we have an even greater need—the need to interact with other Christian women. As Christians we have a bond in our Savior. When we are a woman and a Christian, then fellow-shipping with other Christian women becomes even more of a need because fellow-shipping is a big part of our spiritual welfare.

And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread and in prayers. Acts 2:42 (KJV)

Faithfully attending our local church helps fulfill a Christian womens fellowship needs by the interaction with other Christian women while there. Also, women's ministry meetings and events provide a great place for Christian ladies to meet other Christian woman, make friendships, and build bonds.

It helps give the ladies a better understanding of other women within the church. It helps to regenerate them and learn to cope with their own lives better by getting to know others needs. Our problems usually diminish we see what others face.

We've all heard the saying, "Birds of a feather flock together". When we build relationships with other Christian women we are less likely to flock in the wrong direction. Our friendships with our"sisters" help to keep us focused on Christ.

Can two walk together, except they be agreed? Amos 3:3 (KJV)
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?" 2 Corinthians 6:14 (KJV)

As sisters in Christ we have things in common. We can rejoice together in a lost soul finding the Savior. We can share our heart, pray together over special needs, and know the other will understand. We can praise the Lord together for His blessings. We can look forward to the Blessed Hope and the return of Christ, along with lots of other things that having that fellowship with other Christian women brings

We need that bond of fellowship with other "sisters in the Lord"to help fulfill that need God created within us.

So, what joys do you find from bonding you with your sisters?
