Selecting a Women's Ministry Mission Verse

Selecting a Women's Ministry Mission Verse

Some women's ministries select a mission or theme verse for their women's ministry programs in their local churches. I have 15 of them that I think would make a good mission or theme verse for any women's ministry.

These also would make good yearly verses to focus on throughout the year.

Mission or Theme Verses

That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Colossians 1:10 (KJV)

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Galatians 5:25 (KJV)

Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ. 1 Corinthians 11:1 (KJV)

She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. Proverbs 31:30 (KJV)

She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms. Proverbs 31:17 (KJV)

She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. Proverbs 31:26 (KJV)

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. John 15:4 (KJV)

I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:14 (KJV)

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. Colossians 3:16 (KJV)

And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. Use hospitality one to another without grudging. As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 1 Peter 4:8 (KJV)

That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience. The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, Titus 2:3-5 (KJV)

With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Ephesians 4:2 -7 (KJV)

Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular. 1 Corinthians 12:27 (KJV)

Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. Romans 12:13 (KJV)

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: Philippians 1:6 (KJV)

As with anything else, pray over it and allow yourself to be directed by the Holy Spirit.
