Yay! It’s time for another Online Book Launch Party. Today we are celebrating the release of my newest book, “Let Your Faith Sail”. This is a 62 day daily devotional. This is the first time I have done one of these daily devotionals. The devotions in this book are shorter than my normal ones, and I’ve hopefully given you something to think and mull over for each day of the devotional.

Passenger Mingle Game
Simple directions for this game: Give your guests each a game sheet. Give them an allotted time to mingle and write down the names of the passengers that fit the description of the statements on the sheet. See who can find the most.

Relax in Your Cabin
It’s always great to get a little me time and journaling is a great way to contemplate what’s happening in your voyage of life. You don’t necessarily have to have an actual journal to journal. Grab a notebook or even lined/unlined paper to get started.
There are 30 prompts on this download, so pick a month and try one a day if you wish! Or just find some on the list that you would like to try writing about just for the fun of it.

We are privileged to dine at the Captain’s table (with our Lord) anytime and anywhere.
Grab some Life Saving Verses to lift you up and keep you afloat. If you want a ladies meeting idea, you can cut apart the Life Saving Verses in strips and pass them out for different ladies in your group to read aloud and participate in a conversation on these 10 different things that lift us.

Tray or plate of your choice (I used a wood tray I had floating around. Mine is around 11 and 1/2 inches.)
1 bag of seashells from Dollar Tree
3 bags of sea glass gems (rocks) from Dollar Tree
2 candles from Dollar Tree
2 glass candle holders from Dollar Tree
I poured in my sea glass gems (rocks) first, paced the candleholders, and then lined one side with the seashells. I only used part of the bag of seashells as there are a lot in it and I wanted more sea glass than sea shells.

From DAY #55 ”Sharks in the Water”
…People bite us in ways we don’t expect, and we don’t always know how to handle it. It may be a friend you have known all your life and they betray you. It may be a pastor or Christian that you have loved and respected all your life, and they fall from their pedestal because of something they did to lose their reputation, and that leaves wounds. It may just be someone who tries your patience. Or maybe it’s just someone who has become your enemy and they bite you with angry words and actions. It may be a stranger that has plunged in and hurt you in some way and left their bite marks on you.
Dealing with people is hard because they are people! And difficult people (or those sharks) are even harder to deal with because we feel like they are circling us.
Sometimes we can just ignore them. Sometimes it just requires staying calm. Don’t thrash around with sudden movements of anger and actions! And don’t try to fight those sharks. You won’t win! Normal good-hearted people are no match for the meanspirited hateful ones…
Stop by the Captain’s Quarters
Aren’t you glad that we can talk to our Captain (the Lord) anytime we want by way of prayer? We can just sit in a chair and relax and talk to Him about the things that are close to our hearts.
