Hats Off Party Event Theme

I recently shared with you some “hat” topic writing ideas, and I have some followers interested in the “hats” theme, so I thought I would go ahead and reshare that with you today. There really isn’t a whole lot with this one, but I’ll share what I have.

Hats Off Party Event Theme

This is a great theme for Mother’s of course, but for volunteers or team members as well. It can be suited to almost any group of people that you want to give some recognition.

The event themes on the website can be used for showers, parties, women’s ministry retreats and activities, or church functions. Each theme will have one or several possible spiritual applications. I give you lots of info and ideas—You pick just a few to enhance your event. More ideas can be used for showers and parties, but less is always more for ministry events.

Mothers

Ice Breakers

Hat Contest

  • Let your guests know ahead of time to decorate and wear a hat to the event.
  • Give prizes for the most unusual, prettiest, most creative, etc.
  • Have a Hat ‘Parade’.
  • Have the ladies model their hats.
  • Make up a little narration for each.

Provide mini hats, silk flowers, ribbons, etc. and work on a decorative straw hat. Search Amazon for “mini craft hats” and you will find several types that could be used for this craft. Provide magnets if you want to make magnets out of them.

Hat/Stick Pin Craft
Decorate hat/stick pin jewelry. Provide the beads and crafting supplies needed.
