Seasonal Christian Writing Ideas

10/12/21 I moved the seasonal and holiday writing prompts to a page of their own here.

If you want to write, then getting started that is the main thing. You can’t wait until you have found the perfect topic. You can’t wait until you have done everything else you need to do in a day. You can’t wait until your life is on an even keel.

Christian Writing Ideas

I’ve found writing doesn’t happen when I want it to. I have to wait for the creativity and thoughts to hit my brain or when I’m inspired by something around me. Or I have to wait until I feel the Lord is just pressing on my heart to write about something.

When thoughts come into my head to write about anything–that is when I need to stop and write those thoughts down. Writing something for the first time doesn’t mean it is in paragraph form or book ready.

It may be I just have to stop and write myself little notes to remember something that has passed through the hemisphere of my brain. Sometimes it has traveled very far to get there, and if I don’t write it down, it may go away or never come back to me the same again.

So, I encourage you if you have the desire to write–just begin.

Have a lovely day,
Julia
