Building Teams in Women's Ministry

Your church may already have some these jobs assigned or some of the basic teams and committees in place to take care of some of these things, but if they are done through the Women's Ministry, here are some team suggestions.

Suggested Teams for Women's Ministry

Start small. Build a team or two and then move on to more. I wouldn't suggest building all your teams at once.

Prayer Team

A team of ladies that will pray for specific needs and for the Women's Ministry in general.

Hospitality Team

Welcomes newcomers into the church. Deals with planning for baby and bridal showers. In charge of doorprizes for events. Serves as a Welcome Wagon of sorts.

Retreat Team

Brainstorms with Women's Ministry leader and helps in planning for any yearly retreats.

Benevolent or Nurture Team

Makes sure to send cards of sympathy and get well cards to the sick. Lines up food for recently hospitalized and food for bereaved. Takes care of sending flowers for funerals and hospitalized.

Food and Kitchen Team

Works with food preparation and planning for church fellowships, functions and events.

Decoration Team

In charge of flowers used in the church, decorating for fellowships, functions, and events.

What? No Mailing List?

The answer is "no" I don't maintain one any more for a lot of reasons, but you can keep up with the Julia Bettencourt Ramblings Facebook Page for announcements of anything new on the website.

Keeping it Simple

I have reduced my social media to just Facebook and Instagram.
