Just a quick announcement for you today. I had said I wasn’t going to do a Bible Memory Challenge this year. I was planning on a foot surgery in January and didn’t think I would be up to doing the Challenge with you. But now that will be the end of February, so I have pondered and prayed about it, and have decided to go ahead and do the Memory Challenge.
If you aren’t familiar with how it works, I give you a list of 14 verses on a particular “love” topic, and we memorize them together, a verse a day, from February 1st through February 14 (Valentine’s Day). This year our topic will be “Loving to Talk to God”.
I felt this topic would be appropriate with the rise in Covid cases and other things and that concentrating on prayer more and learning to LOVE and cling to it more would be a good thing.
