As I mentioned recently, I am adding back in some of the event and party themes for you. (See why here.) Anyway, I thought I’d add a Christmas one that I have never posted to the blog or website at any time, so this one will be new for you.
This one is about taking a step back in time and enjoying a simple and rustic Christmas. Think mountain lodge. Think log cabin in the mountains. Think old-fashioned Christmas!
If you want to do a little bit of decorating, keep it slightly on the rustic side, but yet comfortable. I did notice yesterday that the Target dollar bins have snow shoe décor, pillows that say “lodge” on them, and bear and deer shaped wood pieces that might be kind of fun for this theme.
Imagine a relaxed atmosphere with a little plaid or flannel, some woodland décor, and maybe a hot cocoa bar to enjoy with family and friends.
I’ve put this in a pdf file for you to download. There are theme title ideas, spiritual focus, and lots of other ideas included. I’ve also made a “devotional starter” download for you with a few writing ideas. Enjoy!
Remember, don’t just “open” the pdf file, but “open” and “save” it to a USB drive if you want it for future use. There is never a guarantee of how long these will be available here. I recommend USB or Flash drives because computers crash but you usually don’t have to worry if you save files externally.
