Hooray for mothers!
I have been sharing some images during this Covid 19 isolation to use on ministry pages for social platforms. Today I thought I’d go ahead and share some Mother’s Day ones so you all can wish your mothers a happy day on Sunday.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers out there!
First, I want to give a big shout out for those moms who are raising our next generation! I know many of you have been home with your kids more than you ever have during this Covid 19, so kudos to you! I’m sure you all love your kids. I don’t doubt that, but without breaks for them and moms at home, it must be really exhausting, especially for moms of littles.
I never thought about it till typing up this post—I guess because I don’t have little kids or younger ones at home—but it must be really hard on some kids who have been used to doing so much to be stuck at home. It must be especially tough on those who are so used to being involved in sports and activities to be in this shelter at home phase.
And how challenging on parents who’s kids have no outlet to expend their energy. I think of those in some apartments and homes where they don’t really have yards to play in, how hard that must be. So, my prayers are going up for you moms who can’t get your kids out anywhere to play right now. This coming Sunday is your day, and I am a big supporter of that. You certainly deserve a heartfelt, “Happy Mother’s Day!”.

I have two grown children still at home (college age), and I have been able to spend more time with them. I know they will eventually transfer from our junior college and leave the nest, so I am enjoying the time I have with them right now, but even they are antsy. I told them the other day that I was glad this didn’t happen when they were younger or we might all have gone mad by now!
