Men’s Branded Event Theme

Yep! Sometimes I have to share men’s ministry stuff too! I have been asked to help in this area for churches from time to time, so I thought I’d share some men’s event theme ideas for conference sessions.

Me's Ministry Branded Theme

The Session Topics below just give a little direction to make a men’s event cohesive. Any details and lessons are then put together by whomever is teaching. These just give a focus to one main idea. These session topics are for the theme, “Branded for Christ”.

Oh, yes! This can be geared for ladies events too! And I do have a western/cowboy theme already on the website here.

Branded Men’s Event Theme

Main Focus and Key Verse

  • Showing the world that we are followers of Christ and identify with Him; showing His love to others.
  • John 13:35. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

Session Topics

Riding Forward with a Fistful of Prayers

  • Make sure you are praying for the needs of others around you.
  • It’s important in the body of Christ to lift up others in prayer.
  • It’s hard to ride forward when you don’t depend on the power of prayer.

Getting off Your High Horse

  • Pride can get in the way of so many things.
  • Pride brings us to the center of attention instead of Christ.
  • Pride is us lifting ourselves up where we shouldn’t be. Get off that horse!

Go West Young Man

  • That old phrase says, “Go west young man and grow up with the country”.  It was written during pioneer days and it meant that going west meant opportunities.
  • Do you have a west?
  • Are you always heading to opportunities of service?
  • James 4:17

Riding off into the Sunset

  • What are you leaving for a legacy?
  • Are you satisfied with your life and the way you are living it?
  • What will you leave behind?
  • We must work for the Lord while we can.
  • Jesus said, “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.”  (John 9:4)

Getting Back on the Horse after a Fall

  • Ever been thrown down with trials?
  • How do you deal with it?
  • Do you stay down on the ground?
  • Do you allow depression to set in?
  • Do you feel like it isn’t even worth trying?
  • We must get back up and get on the horse again.
  • Paul said, “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before.”  (Philippians 3:13)

Blazing the Trail of Obedience

  • How anxious are you to do what the Lord has for you?
  • Are you staying close to Him in prayer and Bible study?
  • Allow the Lord to direct your paths by following His Word.
  • Don’t get off on the wrong trail.
  • Proverbs 3:5-6

The Importance of the Round Up

  • We have to lasso in the unsaved with our love and our kindness.
  • We have a job to do and a story to tell.
  • We need to “…Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in…”  Luke 14:23

Activity Ideas

  • Barbecue
  • Fish Fry
  • Hot Dog Roast
  • Steak & Potato Dinner
  • Father/Son Outing
  • Campfire Songs
  • Game of Horseshoes
  • Lasso Contest
