I had some writing ideas for “hats” that we wear that I’ve given to you before here. I wrote those originally in regard for Mother’s Day, but I had some other ideas that I fooled around with a bit and didn’t do anything with so I typed them up for you. You can pick those up today.
Maybe some of you would like to develop them further either into devotionals or articles. Hey! Sometimes leftovers are good!

Keep it Under Your Hat
- Keeping confidentialities
- Not spreading gossip
- Proverbs 20:19
Bad Hair Days
- Getting through the every day with joy and grace.
- Stick a hat on and go!
- Doesn’t matter whether you have a bad hair cut, dirty hair, your hair needs a fresh coloring, or if you have bed head hair. Life happens but the Lord will give you strength for each day.
- Pray. Seek the Lord.
- Look to the Lord for guidance and for your joy. You won’t find joy under your hat, just in the Lord.
At the Drop of a Hat
- Be giving without having ulterior motives.
- Ready to jump in and do what’s needed.
- Having a serving heart. (Philippians 2:1-4)
Throw Your Hat into the Ring
- Get busy for Christ,
- Perhaps accept a ministry position
- Perhaps begin volunteering for the church or a great cause.
- Use your gifts and talents for the Lord.
