Ladybug themes make great themes for little girls or big girls. It’s makes a cute girl baby shower theme, a sweet little girl birthday theme, and also can be a wonderful theme for grown ladies at a women’s ministry event. After all, we girls are all ladies.

The event themes on the website can be used for showers, parties, women’s ministry retreats and activities, or church functions. Each theme will have one or several possible spiritual applications. I give you lots of info and ideas—You pick just a few to enhance your event. More ideas can be used for showers and parties, but less is always more for ministry events.

Simple Decorating
- Tray filled with red and black colored items and fake ladybugs.
- Fake ladybugs in a potted plant.
- Circles of black construction paper.
- Various red or black items such as teacups.
- Check online for ladybug printables and frame one.
- Use a red and white gingham dish towel to line tray.

What Bugs You?
- Have index cards ready and have the ladies write down something that bugs them.
- Read them out loud and see if anyone of you have any “bugs” in common.
- We’re talking general “bugs” here such as “Drivers on their cell phones”, etc. not what “bugs” you about a specific person:)
Discussion Starters
- What do you normally do about things that bug you? Ignore them? Do something about them?
- What do you think marks the sign of being a lady?
- What do you think are signs of being unladylike?
Charming Ladies Test
- Have all your ladies line up and try to walk so far with a book balanced on their head. (something I remember doing in charm class when I was in high school)
- Make it an opportunity to draw in how the Lord can keep us balanced in our lives. He’s the force that stables us and helps us be those godly “ladies”.
