I haven’t given you a new event theme in quite a while, but with Christmas parties being planned for December, I thought now was a good time. I do already have some Christmas themes on the blog suitable for family/friend parties or can be geared toward women’s ministry functions. Find those Christmas themes here.
Okay, are you ready for that new Christmas theme? It’s all about Christmas treats. We all like those. Right? Whether they be Christmas goodies to eat, a charitable kindness shown, or a treat in the way of a Christmas gift.
Christmas Treats Event Concept
Posted November 03, 2023
The event themes on the website can be used for showers, parties, women’s ministry retreats and activities, or church functions. Each theme will have one or several possible spiritual applications. I give you lots of info and ideas—You pick just a few to enhance your event. More ideas can be used for showers and parties, but less is always more for ministry events.

Simple Decorating
I know most of you are aware that I love simple events and simple decorating, especially for women’s ministry events. On the other hand, I do think Christmas is one of those times where I feel it is okay to go all out and decorate. After all, we are celebrating the birth of the Savior of the World!! But as always, reign it in by only doing what budget, time, and available workers allow comfortably. In other words, don’t overstress yourself, your volunteers, or your budget!
- Simple tray: Fill with Christmas ornaments, greenery, a candle, and add in a Bible opened to Luke 2.
- Decorate a tree.
- Use gingerbread, sweet treats, and baking decor.
- Real sweets and treats can double for serving and as decor.
- You can still keep everything understated by using plain tablecloths and using candles or greenery for centerpieces. Use Christmas candles or Christmas arrangements to serve for centerpieces for the function and as door prizes.
