Serving Creative Ladies Ministry

How You Can Help Serve CLM

All through the year, especially around Christmas, I get a lot of emails and Facebook messages asking how you can donate to Creative Ladies Ministry or how you can give back after using the free materials on the website.  First of all, let me say that I am very thankful for your willingness to help.

I am not a nonprofit organization so I do not accept financial donations. Creative Ladies is a personal outreach.  I do not have a staff or anything like that.  I write the devotionals and articles on my own and do all of the website design.

I appreciate those who want to help with my ministry and the Creative Ladies Ministry website.

Here's how you can help:

  • Pray for me!

Your prayers are the top thing I ask for.  I appreciate that so many of you write to let me know that you are praying for me on a regular basis.  That is such an encouragement to me.

  • If you want to help financially, just purchase something from the CLM Resource Shop.

Having this outlet for my creative endeavors helps me to remain a stay-at-home mom (so I can chauffer my teen-age kids around to school, band, orchestra, FFA meetings, etc.).  It frees me up time to work on my writing along with maintaining the website.  Plus it helps pay for website hosting related fees.

  • Like and share my Facebook posts and comments on the CLM Facebook Page.

This helps draw new likes for the Facebook page and brings new visitors to the website.  Your comments on Facebook encourage others and me as well.  Facebook doesn't send out Facebook "page" posts immediately to all that are following.  They do it little by little.  The more likes, shares and comments, the more followers they send the feed out to so your interaction is important.

  • Pin things from my blog and the website to Pinterest and share my Pinterest boards or the CLM Group Boards.

This is your invitation to someone to stop by my website.  Your pinning draws in visitors.

  • Tweet about CLM on Twitter or use any other means of social media that I haven't mentioned.

    Every share helps.

  • If you have a website or blog, feature the CLM website on a post.

  • Grab one of my website banners and post them.

Post them on your blog sidebars or share them by other social means.

  • Leave comments on my blog posts (Made2BCreative).

When there are more comments on the posts, the more it peaks the interest of new visitors as to what is going on.  It also helps me know what ideas you like, what you don't like, and what you want more of.

  • If you see a bad link or mistake on the website---please email or Facebook message me.

This helps toward keeping the website error-free.  I do not know about mistakes unless someone informs me.  I am a one member team here, although I do have some ladies that help me proofread.  It is always hard to catch everything so don't hesitate to let me know of bad links or other mistakes I may make on the website.

  • Tell your friends about Creative Ladies Ministry.

Word of mouth can help so much.

Just a Note:

In the past I haven't had to resort to advertising because I have been blessed with an abundance of visitors over the years, and some purchase items from the CLM Shop.

As I mentioned, this helps me pay for website related fees and allows me not to have to get a job outside of the home, enabling me to have time to write.

I may be adding some ads to my blog after the first of the year but I am hoping that I never have to take the advertising route on the main website or pay for ads.  I personally hate to visit websites (especially ministry related ones) with affiliate links and ads everywhere.

I love having the website ad-free but people don't search the web like they used to do so it may be something that I have to consider in the future.

I have an abundance of visitors now from Pinterest.  The whole way of searching and finding websites now is photo driven instead of content driven as in the past, so please don't underestimate your help to me by sharing posts and pinning pages from the website.  It blesses me immensely when you do that.

I am having to scramble to keep the popularity of the website up by putting up graphics so that people can pin the pages or make ways to share the pages socially.  It's not enough nowadays to just have good content.  You have to have good content along with photos and graphics.

People will stay for the good content but you have to get them there in the first place.  Everything is visual so I do appreciate all of you who help me by pinning and sharing the CLM website socially in some way.

It is not all about the website being "popular" but I think women's ministry shouldn't be just a big marketing scheme or commodity (I know I've mentioned that before) and I want people to find the free ideas and material here if it will help them minister to others without paying membership fees and feeling obligated to click on affiliate links.

Teaching other women is what it is all about so thanks for helping me minister by grabbing a few of the ideas above to help the website.

Thanks again for your willingness to help and serve... Julia.
