New Registration Status As Of 3/8/09--Trying to sign up??

To Those Trying To Sign Up For The Board-----

I have gotten way behind on registrations and have had to close them down again until I catch up. I've got over 300 left to sort through. I am getting overwhelmed with spam sign ups again. I'm not sure why all of a sudden in the last month or so it's increased so much. I'm getting overloaded with spam comments on my blog too.

I'm sorry for the delay for those of you who are anxiously waiting to be activated. I just can't allow the accounts to be automatically activated.

***Please note, if you've written to me about your sign up, I most likely have answered you (several times) but either my email back to you is going in your spam box or you have your email set not to allow emails from me. You must have your email set to accept mail from the juliabettencourt.com domain. Thanks!

***For those of you who cannot see the sign-up code, most likely you are using AOL. It puts restrictions on images. Usually I just disable the image verification and allow you to sign up and then turn it back on, but because I'm overloaded already with spam sign ups, I just can't do that at this time because then I'll get even more spam sign ups and be even farther behind. If you can't read the image code, try using another computer or a different browser. Thanks!

Okay, I think that covers it this time. I think that in the future I will just have the sign-ups open only a few days a week. I'm not sure how else to do it. I'll put up a message if I decide to do that.
